I feel your absence, mom

Though they might've never heard me cry or holler.
But many secret tears I have cried.

Mother my dear, Its been decade

but I feel tough, as it was yesterday.
No one knows how often I think of you
and miss you.
The time when I need consolation
your 'presence' is the most I yearn for.
And I  feel the void inside me keep growing.
The heart aches in sadness but then life reminds me
how lucky i am to have
someone so special to miss.
